Executive Functioning & ADHD Coaching That Finally Holds

Level-Up Life is clinically supervised executive functioning coaching for students and young adults who have tried everything, only to watch it fall apart the moment the structure went away. We start by looking at what's actually getting in the way, then build skills that hold up on their own. Nationwide remote, in-person in Provo, Utah. No contracts, ever.

The Level-Up Life Way

You've probably already tried the tutors, the programs, the providers, and watched each one work right up until the structure went away. Level-Up Life takes a different angle. We look past the academic struggle at everything that's actually shaping your kid's day (sleep, food, screen time, friendships, all the work nobody hands out as homework), and from there we build a plan for this specific person, without shame and without assumptions about what's "wrong" with them.

How We Help Students and Families

Every program at Level-Up Life is clinically supervised by Ryan Roberts, our CMHC and Clinical Director. Your student's coach is the one working with them day to day, while Ryan and the program directors stay in steady consultation behind the scenes, so nothing important slips through the cracks.

Executive Functioning Coaching

This is our flagship program, built for students of all ages, including elementary school, middle school, high school, college, and young adults finding their footing in early adulthood. Instead of treating academics, emotional regulation, time management, healthy routines, and daily living as separate tracks, we work on them together because in real life they all move at once. Our goal is to help students build the skills, habits, and confidence needed to succeed in school and beyond.

This one's for the student who's tired of being told to "just try harder." They know exactly what they want; they just can't get themselves to do what it takes to get there. Our coaching is research-informed, and it builds the specific skills ADHD tends to disrupt, without the lecture that usually comes with them.

Treatment Transition Coaching

For families stepping down from a residential, wilderness, or inpatient program, this is where we work every independent-living domain at once: academics, nutrition, sleep, money, friendships, emotional regulation. The transition home is exactly when most of that hard-won progress starts to unravel, and that's the moment this program is built for.

Parent Coaching

Here, you're an active part of the work, not a bystander to it. We give you the psychoeducation, the communication strategy, and the practical, in-the-moment guidance to engage with your kid in ways that reinforce the coaching rather than quietly work against it.

Health & Wellness Coaching

Sometimes a student's habits around food, sleep, or movement are quietly undermining everything else, and that's when we bring in health and wellness coaching as an internal referral. It's led by Lindsey Roberts, who holds an M.S. in Nutrition and Functional Medicine.

Who We Work With

We work with two audiences at the same time, and we speak to each one a little differently, because parents and students are usually arriving from very different places. Start wherever you see yourself.

For Parents

You're the one up at midnight, weighing the options, carrying most of the weight. This page walks through what the work actually looks like from where you're standing, including the parts nobody warned you about.

For Students & Young Adults

You've been through programs before, and somewhere along the way you learned not to get attached. No shame here, no lecture, no "have you tried meditation." Just real data, and a plan you can actually run.

Why Families Choose Level-Up Life

Three things really set this program apart from the rest of the coaching industry, and the data backs up each one.

Every coaching relationship is backed by a team of professionals

Ryan Roberts is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and directs a research lab studying ADHD, executive functioning, and academic accommodations. He also teaches counseling and research methods courses at Utah Valley University. He isn’t someone who read the literature once and built a program around it. He’s actively generating that literature for experts in the field while he runs the program. Clinical oversight on every single case is rare in this space; at Level-Up Life, it’s simply the standard.

coaching relationship

We track the work and publish what we actually see:

- 60% of weekly student goals met when the coaching plan is followed
- 97% plan adherence across active engagements
- 86%+ student and parent satisfaction
- 95%+ of referring educational consultants say they wish they'd known about Level-Up Life sooner

These are program-level numbers, not one student's best month. We lead with them because, honestly, most coaching programs don't measure outcomes at all.

promised

Plenty of programs lock families in; we'd rather earn your continued engagement by showing you real progress, and refer you out the moment we're not the right fit. Pricing is public, with package discounts for families who commit to a starter or full engagement block.

Free Workshops Every Month

Each month, Level-Up Life hosts roughly five free monthly workshops alongside our sister practice, Komi Counseling and Psychology. The topics range widely, from ADHD and executive functioning to academic strategy, emotional regulation, and how to parent an adolescent who's genuinely struggling. These are substantive educational sessions, not lead-capture dressed up as content, and both parents and students are welcome.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Level-Up Life different from a coach without clinical oversight?

Level-Up Life is coaching, and every coaching relationship is clinically supervised by Ryan Roberts, a licensed CMHC. That clinical direction behind each case is the depth most independent coaches can't offer. When a family needs clinical care instead, we refer to our sister practice, Komi Counseling and Psychology.

Executive functioning coaching builds the skills behind getting things done: planning, time management, task initiation, emotional regulation, and follow-through. We look at what's actually happening in a student's daily life, reduce shame around it, troubleshoot the specific problem, then teach the skill until it becomes a habit.

No. Coaching is nationwide and primarily remote. In-person coaching is available in Provo, Utah for families who want it, most often for younger students and families in the early weeks after a residential discharge.

Insurance does not reimburse coaching because it has not been deemed "medically necessary" by insurance companies. Some families use HSA/FSA funds under "ADHD Coaching," but confirming coverage and pursuing reimbursement is the family's responsibility. Need help getting started or need financial assistance, give us a call!

A consultation runs 15 to 30 minutes, by phone. We listen to what's going on and explain how our program can fit your situation. There's no sales pressure and no contract to sign.

Our core focus is students and young adults roughly 18 to 26, though health and wellness coaching serves clients as young as 8. We meet students where they are, whatever stage they're in.
