Quiet desk with phone, notebook, and warm light — a calm space for a first conversation

Contact Level-Up Life Book a Free Consultation

The consultation is a free 15- to 30-minute phone call, and it's exactly what it sounds like: a real conversation, with no sales pitch, no contract, and no obligation beyond the call itself. By the time we hang up, you'll know whether Level-Up Life is the right fit for your family. And if we aren't, we'll tell you honestly and point you toward someone who is.

Key Takeaways

Failure to Launch Actually Look Like

A free consultation with Level-Up Life is a 15- to 30-minute phone call (no video, no deck, no pressure).

You'll talk with Ryan Roberts, CMHC, our Clinical Director, or one of our program directors.

We listen to what's going on, then explain how our coaching can fit your situation.

If coaching isn't the right fit, we say so on the call and refer you toward what is.

Schedule a Free Consultation

The consultation is the first real step, and we've kept it deliberately simple. It's 15 to 30 minutes on the phone, more of a conversation than a sales call. Pick a time that works for you, and we'll send a confirmation.

You'll be talking with Ryan Roberts, our Clinical Director, or one of our program directors. And if your questions are service-specific, where a particular coach is really the right person to answer them, we'll pull that coach in.

There's nothing you need to prepare beforehand. Just show up with whatever's on your mind. We'll listen to what's going on, and then we'll explain how our program can fit your situation.

What to Expect on the Call

What to Expect on the Call

A lot of families come into that first call half-bracing for a disguised sales pitch. It isn't one. Here's what actually happens.

We'll ask you a few questions: a brief summary of your family's situation, what you've already tried, what kind of help you're looking for. You don't need polished answers. Most families have been managing something messy for a long time, and the consultation is the first place they've been asked to describe it without a clipboard in the room.

Then we'll answer yours. About our approach, pricing, the team, scheduling, what coaching actually looks like week to week, anything else. Nothing is off-limits.

By the end of the call, you'll have a clear sense of whether Level-Up Life is the right fit. If it is, we'll talk about what starting could look like (services, scheduling, costs) and you'll leave with a concrete next step. If it's not, we'll say so directly and refer you to a better-fit option. That might be our sister practice Komi Counseling and Psychology if your family needs therapy. It might be an educational consultant if you're looking for placement help. It might be another coaching practice whose model fits better than ours. Telling you we're not the right fit is part of how we earn the trust to be the right fit for someone else.

There's no follow-up obligation. No pre-loaded contract. The call is the entire commitment.

Other Ways to Reach Us

Phone

(385) 327-0717. You can call or text, whichever you prefer. Texting is great for quick questions ("Can I move my Thursday session?"), and calling works better for first conversations or anything that needs a little back-and-forth.

Email

support@level-uplife.com. This is the best route for non-urgent questions, prospective-family inquiries, educational consultant referrals, or any scheduling that doesn't really need a call. We respond within one business day, Monday through Friday.

Hours

We're available Monday through Friday during business hours, with limited evening and weekend availability by appointment. If you reach out after hours, we'll get back to you the next business day.

Office

2230 N University Pkwy, Ste 2C-A, Provo, UT 84604. In-person sessions are by appointment only, inside the Komi Counseling and Psychology offices. Most of our coaching is delivered remotely, so we reserve in-person for Utah families and a handful of specific situations (treatment transition, younger students, particular fit needs).

Free workshops

Every month we run free monthly workshops on ADHD, executive functioning, parenting strategies, and academic success. They're open to anyone, with no current relationship required, and signing up for one is completely separate from booking a consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during the free consultation?

A 15- to 30-minute phone conversation about your family's situation, what you've already tried, and whether Level-Up Life is the right fit. No pressure, no sales pitch. If coaching isn't right for you, we'll say so directly and point you toward something that is.

No, not at all. Plenty of families schedule while they're still researching, comparing options, or sitting with a recent recommendation from an educational consultant. The call is for figuring out whether we're a fit, not for closing a sale, and you can leave it having decided nothing.

That's entirely up to you. Many parents call first, get a feel for the program, then bring their student into a second conversation if it feels right. Some families do one combined call from the start. Whatever fits you works for us. And for students 18 and over, we're happy to talk with them directly without a parent on the line.

That's exactly what the consultation is for. We'll talk through your situation and recommend a starting point. Most families begin with Executive Functioning Coaching. Families stepping down from residential treatment usually start with Treatment Transition Coaching. And if parent skills are the priority, we'll point you toward Parent Coaching.

Level-Up Life is coaching, not therapy. If what your family really needs is therapy, medication management, or clinical mental health care, we'll refer you to our sister practice, Komi Counseling and Psychology, which shares our Provo office. Coaching and therapy can run alongside each other, and many of our families do both. A consultation is the right place to figure out which lane your family belongs in.

Nothing specific. A rough sense of what's been hardest at home or at school, anything you've tried that helped or didn't, and what you're hoping changes is plenty to work with. If you happen to have a recent diagnostic report, neuropsych evaluation, or educational consultant recommendation on hand, just mention it on the call. There's no need to send anything in advance.

Welcome. We work closely with educational consultants, and we've built a referral page just for ECs that covers how we communicate during placement, what data we share, and how transitions are managed. The fastest way to start is to email support@level-uplife.com with a brief intro, and we'll route you to the right person.

Yes. Email support@level-uplife.com with what you're working through and what you'd like to know. We respond within one business day. Most families end up scheduling a call after an email or two (there's a limit to what's useful in writing), but email-first is a fine starting point.
